What makes managers stumble

Not everyone who has specialist skills, innovative ideas and can reliably achieve the required turnover, is suitable to take responsibility for a team. Often, character deficits such as arrogance, a tendency to overdramatise or the fickleness of a manager get in the way of an empathic form of management. Such misconduct can often throw top managers off track.
